America is suffering from a widespread epidemic: lack of sleep. Not getting enough beauty sleep can take a toll on your overall health and new studies suggest that there is a definite relationship between lack of sleep and a myriad of health problems. Some experts contend that not getting enough sleep can increase an individual’s risk for diabetes, heart disease, and even obesity. It disrupts how our body functions, can heighten stress, decrease appetite, and increase dependency on stimulants, such as caffeine.
Moral of the story: get enough sleep! Otherwise you may be caught in some compromising positions:
